New criteria emphasize expertise and customer satisfaction

New stricter criteria to separate the wheat from the chaff for Odoo suppliers


In April, Odoo tightened up its criteria for partnerships. Fewer and fewer Odoo partners will be awarded gold status in the future.


Odoo assesses its partners on the basis of three key indicators: the number and size of new clients, the number of certified staff and the retention rate. Based on these indicators, a partner is rated Gold, Silver or Ready. 


Gold partners specialise in larger clients, while Silver and Ready partners specialise in smaller projects. The aim of the reform is to highlight the key players in the Odoo ecosystem and ensure that the partner network best meets the needs of customers.


SprintIT strongly qualifies as a top-level partner and remains the only Gold level partner in Finland and Sweden, being one of the two Gold-level partners in the Nordic region. Flyt Consulting AS, operating in Norway, also managed to maintain its gold status.

There is one Odoo Gold Partner, one Silver Partner and five Ready Partners in Finland. In addition, there are several smaller Odoo suppliers operating in Finland who do  not meet Odoo's partner criteria. It is also possible to implement Odoo independently without the help of a partner, but then there is a risk that the system will be underused and not get the best out of it.
